Enna to host VII Pan-European Forum of Confraternities

The VII Pan-European Forum of Confraternities was presented at the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome. The event is scheduled to take place in Enna, Sicily, from October 2 to October 7.

The forum will bring together delegations from across Europe to discuss the history and contemporary role of confraternities, which involve millions of people. The program includes religious celebrations, cultural initiatives, meetings, and opportunities to explore the local territory.

Local officials, including Enna Vice Mayor Stefania Marino and Deputy Eliana Longi, emphasized the event's importance for showcasing the city's heritage and traditions. In preparation for the forum, efforts are underway to reopen the Museo del Mito and restore key local tourist routes. The event aims to foster collaboration between institutions, tourism operators, and local associations to enhance the city's cultural attractiveness.
