Enna Vilai wins Best Cinematography at Atlanta Indian Film Festival

The Tamil socio-political thriller ‘Enna Vilai’, directed by Sajeev Pazhoor, has won the Award for Best Cinematography at the Atlanta Indian Film Festival (AIFF). The award was accepted by producer Anugopal Venugopalan on behalf of cinematographer Alby Antony.

Set in coastal Rameswaram, the film stars Karunaas and Nimisha Sajayan. The plot follows a fisherman whose life is upended after discovering a gold ornament, leading to a struggle for dignity and justice against a powerful legal system.

Following its theatrical run, which saw mixed to positive critical reviews but limited box office success, the film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 15. The digital release will include dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
