Ennepetal multigenerational house offers support for separating families

The Mehrgenerationenhaus Ennepetal has announced a series of community programs for the week of October 26 to October 30, 2026. A key offering takes place on Wednesday, October 28, featuring a session on family education led by the Family Office/Family Center. This session, titled ‘verliebt, verlobt, verheiratet…geschieden’ (in love, engaged, married…divorced), is designed to help parents navigate the emotional challenges of separation and provide sensitive support to their children during turbulent times.

Other scheduled activities at the center include a language café, social dancing, a refugee counseling service provided by the AWO, and various creative workshops such as pottery and a repair and sewing café. The center aims to provide spaces for social interaction, movement, and professional advice for various age groups.
