Enni Energie & Umwelt Niederrhein posts record €47.4 million profit

Enni Energie & Umwelt Niederrhein (Enni) reported a record net profit of €47.4 million for fiscal year 2025, despite a slight decline in revenue to €308.3 million. The company attributed the strong result to lower energy prices, a stabilised operating business and significant growth in its non‑traditional energy activities. About 45 % of the profit came from participation holdings, services and trading, while the core energy supply contributed roughly one‑fifth.

Enni now holds 20 corporate stakes, with earnings from these investments rising to around €9.5 million. The diversification strategy and the ability to perform operational tasks within its portfolio companies were highlighted as key drivers of the record performance.
