Enock Chitsara banned from driving after M5 drink-driving arrest

Enock Chitsara, 42, has been disqualified from driving for 17 months after being caught driving dangerously on the M5 motorway. The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, August 17, near Bridgwater, Somerset, following reports from a member of the public regarding a vehicle swerving and braking unpredictably.

Police observed Chitsara's Ford Ranger veering between lanes and slowing to 28mph before pulling him over at Gordano Services. A breath test conducted in custody revealed a reading of 60 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, which is nearly twice the legal limit. In addition to the driving ban, Chitsara was ordered to pay £556 in fines.
