Enoshima Electric Railway to launch weekly fare cap for contactless payments

Enoshima Electric Railway will launch a new service called ‘Jimotoku Shu Matome Wari’ starting August 24, 2026. This program is designed for passengers using credit card contactless payments.

To utilize the service, users must register and enter through the ‘Pass Case Entry’ website provided by Mitsui Sumitomo Card. Once registered, passengers can tap their credit cards at ticket gates to benefit from a weekly fare cap of 1,380 yen. This cap applies to off-peak travel between Monday and Friday (including holidays) during specific hours: from the first train until 6:30, and from 8:30 until midnight.

The service covers the entire Enoshima Electric Railway section between Fujisawa and Kamakura. The weekly cap applies to adult passengers, and users must ensure they complete the entry process via the website before entering the station to qualify for the discounted rates.
