Enric Mas and Mavi García scout Montreal World Championship circuit

Spanish cyclists Enric Mas and Mavi García have completed reconnaissance rides of the Montreal circuit ahead of the UCI Road World Championships in Canada. The training sessions allowed the Spanish national team to familiarize themselves with the course that will host the upcoming elite competitions.

Enric Mas, who recently won the Vuelta a España, will compete in the men's elite race on Sunday. The course covers 273.7 kilometers with over 3,800 meters of accumulated elevation. With the absence of Tadej Pogačar, the field of contenders is considered more open, positioning Mas and teammate Juan Ayuso as key Spanish prospects.

Mavi García will compete in the women's elite race on Saturday. Following her bronze medal in Kigali a year ago and a successful season including a stage win at the Tour de France, she returns to the World Championships to contend for a podium finish.
