Enrique Flores Mendoza reinstated to Guadalupe council after judicial ruling

Enrique Flores Mendoza, a PRI councilman for Guadalupe, Zacatecas, has been reinstated to the local council following a judicial mandate. Flores Mendoza claims his previous removal was the result of “political revanchism” and unfounded accusations of embezzlement and misuse of authority.

He stated that a judicial ruling by three magistrates determined there was no basis for the actions against him, ordering his immediate restitution with all rights intact. Flores Mendoza noted that despite the court order, the local administration delayed his reintegration for over two weeks and attempted to mark him as absent during roll calls.
