Enrique Galindo delivers government report and park rehabilitation in San Luis Potosí

San Luis Potosí Mayor Enrique Galindo delivered his second government report, marking five years of administration. During the address, Galindo emphasized his commitment to restoring citizen trust and preserving the city's 400-year history through public works and community engagement programs such as ‘Domingo de Pilas’ and ‘Capital al 100’. He highlighted achievements including the planting of over 300,000 trees and various infrastructure improvements in paving, lighting, and public services, while identifying public security as a primary administrative priority.

In a related development, the municipal government completed the comprehensive rehabilitation of the historic ‘Dr. Juan H. Sánchez’ Parque de Morales. The project, managed by the departments of Municipal Services and Public Works, aimed to transform a previously abandoned area into a functional space for families. Improvements included the restoration of 23 children's playgrounds and the installation of new lighting, such as lanterns and reflectors, to enhance safety. Mayor Galindo requested that the Municipal DIF, led by Estela Arriaga Márquez, oversee the continued care and preservation of the park for future generations.
