Enrique Jonguitud promotes Tamaulipas literature at State Congress

Writer Enrique Jonguitud Blanco hosted a literary reading at the library of the Congress of Tamaulipas to promote regional literature. The event was part of the state Congress’s ‘Mes de la Cultura’ (Month of Culture) program, an initiative led by Deputy Blanca Anzaldúa to bring various artistic expressions to legislative staff.

This event marked the first literary reading held in the legislative library. During the session, Jonguitud Blanco read poems by regional authors, including Baudelio Camarillo, Renato Tinajero, Juan José Amador, Cynthia Rodríguez de Leija, and Roberto López Hernández, as well as his own original works.

Jonguitud Blanco, an author of five books including the youth novel ‘Siempre quedan cosas por decirnos’, highlighted how the cultural program provides visibility to local artists, filmmakers, and writers.
