Enriquillo Region leaders rally behind David Collado in Neiba assembly

Political leaders, legislators, and municipal authorities from the Enriquillo Region in the Dominican Republic gathered in Neiba, Bahoruco, to express support for the political project of David Collado.

The assembly aimed to integrate and coordinate the political structures of the teams led by David Collado and Eduardo ‘Yayo’ Sanz Lovatón across the provinces of Bahoruco, Barahona, Independencia, and Pedernales. According to organizers, the event saw significant participation from regional leadership, including three of the four senators, six of the nine deputies, and approximately 80% of the mayors, along with various local council members and representatives from youth and women's fronts.

This organizational effort is part of the preparations for the 2028 electoral process. While David Collado has not officially announced a presidential candidacy, the meeting focused on strengthening territorial structures and fostering collaboration between congressional and municipal authorities within the region.
