Ensenada athletics: Barbie Run 2026 confirmed as CICESE race is canceled

The Liga Municipal de Atletismo de Ensenada (LIMAE) has announced its support for the Barbie Run 2026, scheduled for September 20. The event, organized by ASDEPORTE, will feature 3, 5, and 10-kilometer routes. Organizers have already begun administrative procedures and met with local authorities to review requirements and potential routes.

In contrast, the traditional CICESE Race has been canceled for 2026 due to internal institutional changes and administrative issues. Organizers indicated that the competition is expected to return in 2027 with modifications.
