Ensenada Mayor Claudia Agatón Enhances Coordination with Local Business Council

Mayor Claudia Agatón Muñiz of Ensenada agreed with the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial de Ensenada (CCEE) to set up permanent work tables aimed at advancing priority projects in infrastructure, mobility, regulatory improvement, digitalization of procedures, public services, commerce and security.

Key actions include reactivating the Municipal Committee for Regulatory Improvement to streamline municipal permits, creating standing committees on mobility, digital services, commerce and urban development, and pursuing joint efforts with state and federal agencies on infrastructure such as city access roads, the San Miguel toll plaza, airport development and a municipal logistics corridor. The partnership also plans to strengthen public‑security coordination, review traffic regulations, and explore new financing schemes and construction‑sector collaboration. The mayor said the meetings will be held regularly to monitor progress and fulfill the goals of Ensenada’s 2026 Strategic Municipal Agenda.
