Enshrouded launches 1.0 version on PS5 with high user ratings

Keen Games has released the 1.0 version of its survival action RPG, Enshrouded, marking its transition from early access to a full launch. The title has debuted on PlayStation 5 to high user acclaim, maintaining a 4.81 out of 5-star rating on the PlayStation Store with over 1,500 reviews. On Metacritic, the game holds a score of 89.

Enshrouded is an open-world game set in the kingdom of Embervale, where players must navigate a corrupting fog known as the Shroud. The gameplay features a mix of combat, resource gathering, base building, and character progression through deep skill trees. The full release introduces a complete map, including new areas like Cinder’s Cradle, which features lava-filled wastelands and floating islands.

In addition to the console launch, the game has achieved Steam Deck Verified status. While currently available on PC and PlayStation 5, Xbox players are expected to wait until 2027 for access.
