Enshrouded exits Early Access with 1.0 release on PC and PS5

Enshrouded, the survival RPG developed by German studio Keen Games, has officially exited Early Access with the release of version 1.0. The full launch is available on PC via Steam and marks the game’s debut on PlayStation 5.

This major update introduces the Cinder’s Cradle region, featuring floating islands and lava rivers, alongside 37 new enemies and new summoning spells. The update also expands the level cap to 50 and introduces the Sparkworks system, allowing players to create and share custom dungeons.

On the technical side, the PS5 version includes a performance mode at 60 FPS, with additional optimizations for the PS5 Pro. While the game is now available on PC and PlayStation, an Xbox Series X|S release is expected in spring 2027.

Separately, Digital Lighthouse Games announced Encryption, a psychological horror game set in Matera, Italy, which is scheduled for a 2027 PC release via Steam. The title focuses on exploration and stealth as a father searches for his missing daughter amidst forest fires.
