Enter Shikari releases surprise single ‘Higher Ground’

Enter Shikari Higher Ground new single band hiatus electro-rock

British band Enter Shikari has released a surprise new single titled ‘Higher Ground’. The track, which features electro-rock and rave elements, was originally recorded during the sessions for their album ‘Lose Your Self’ but was finalized this summer.

Frontman Rou Reynolds stated that the song explores the importance of gaining a broader perspective to find clarity and connection amidst difficult times. The release follows the band’s recent unannounced album launch in April.

The new single arrives shortly after the band announced they will take an indefinite hiatus starting after 2027, citing mental health challenges and changing conditions within the music industry. Before the break, the group will embark on an extensive arena tour across Europe and the UK starting in November, including dates in Germany and London.
