Entergram releases Steam demo for VTuber mystery game VIRTUAL ENCORE

Entergram has released a Steam demo for ‘VIRTUAL ENCORE’, a time-leap mystery adventure game set in a VTuber agency. Players take on the role of Wakaba Kusunoki, a manager at Production Echoes, tasked with supporting talent Erika Tsukimiya leading up to her first solo live performance.

The narrative involves a time loop where the player must investigate the truth behind the death of Mirei Kisaragi, the person behind the VTuber persona, by revisiting the six days leading up to the concert. The Steam demo offers approximately two hours of gameplay, covering the period from the morning six days before the concert until the start of the loop.

Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch physical version have also commenced, with a scheduled release in January 2027. The game will be featured at Tokyo Game Show 2026, where Entergram will host a stage event on September 21 involving voice talent and new information regarding the title.
