Enterprise Greece promotes offshore wind energy at WindEnergy Hamburg
Enterprise Greece led the first national participation of Greece at the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 exhibition, held in Germany. The delegation included 10 Greek companies with strong export profiles, showcasing a wide range of products and services across the wind energy value chain. These offerings included metal structures, cables, electrical equipment, substations, medium voltage systems, installation and maintenance services, and digital solutions such as AI and sensors.
The primary focus of the mission was to promote Greece's potential in offshore wind farms, the strengthening of electrical grids, and energy storage infrastructure. Through meetings with international companies, Enterprise Greece aimed to position Greece as a regional energy hub for Southeast Europe and the Mediterranean. The participation aligns with Greece's goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050, emphasizing the role of wind energy and the development of resilient European supply chains for renewable energy equipment.
