Enterprise software testing moves to human‑led AI orchestration

Artificial intelligence can now generate test cases, execute checks, analyse failures, summarise logs and support self‑healing automation. However, enterprises that benefit most will keep QA teams involved, using AI to scale analysis, execution and feedback while humans retain responsibility for relevance, risk interpretation, governance and release confidence.

For deterministic regression testing, especially in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, probabilistic AI tools are unsuitable. Regression testing relies on identical inputs and expected outcomes; any variation in inputs makes defect detection impossible.
