Enterprises adopt multi-agent AI architectures for specialized workflows
Major enterprises are increasingly adopting multi-agent AI architectures to streamline complex business workflows. Vercel CEO Guillermo Rauch highlighted the company’s internal agent, ‘V’, which supports nearly 1,000 employees by synthesizing company knowledge and customer data. Vercel utilizes the open-source Eve framework to build agents that integrate with specific company processes, favoring a team of specialized agents over a single monolithic model.
Similarly, Capital One has developed a scalable multi-agent AI platform centered on customized open-weight models rather than off-the-shelf foundation models. By fine-tuning these models with proprietary data, the bank aims to leverage its unique datasets to create experts in company-specific policy and nomenclature. This approach has proven extensible across the enterprise, including in high-volume workflows such as bank fraud customer service.
