Various entertainment anecdotes regarding the filming of kiss scenes have been shared by actors. Chiu Yi-tai and Liu Yu-jen recently filmed a romantic scene for a production. To prepare for the scene, the actors used gum and peach-flavored sweets to ensure fresh breath. The filming involved specific rehearsals and a cleared set to maintain a romantic atmosphere.

In a separate account, actor Ma Yu-hsing shared a difficult experience filming a kiss scene with a senior actress.
