Entre Ríos authorities launch territorial planning training

The Vice-Governorship of Entre Ríos and the Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure have initiated a training program to strengthen the technical and political capacities of local governments in territorial planning and management. The initiative, framed within the 2030 Agenda, aims to assist municipalities and communes in managing their territories more effectively.

A workshop led by Spanish urbanist Josep María Llop Torné, director of the UNESCO Chair for Intermediate Cities, was held at the Museo Casa de Gobierno in Paraná. The program seeks to address disparities in resources and expertise across different regions of the province by providing specialized training to local officials and technical staff.

Vice-Governor and Senate President Alicia Aluani emphasized the necessity of having trained personnel in local governments to ensure equitable development. Minister of Planning and Infrastructure Hernán Jacob noted that the collaboration with UNESCO allows for a methodology adapted to the specific geographic and demographic characteristics of Entre Ríos.
