Entre Ríos Civil Defense receives 4x4 vehicle for emergency response

The Entre Ríos Provincial Civil Defense Directorate has acquired a new 4x4 double-cabin pickup truck to strengthen its operational capacity and emergency response. The vehicle was donated by the Argentine Delegation to the Salto Grande Joint Technical Commission (CTM).

This acquisition is intended to improve assistance in hard-to-reach areas, particularly during floods and other adverse weather events associated with the El Niño phenomenon. The vehicle is equipped to transport both personnel and necessary emergency equipment to support vulnerable populations.

The handover took place at the Argentine Delegation of Salto Grande, attended by Provincial Director of Civil Defense Víctor Chanenko and the Argentine Delegate to the CTM, Guillermo Marcone. Officials emphasized that investing in such equipment is vital for rapid response and institutional coordination during large-scale climatic emergencies.
