Entre Ríos conducts Permanent Household Survey (EPH)
The Dirección General de Estadística y Censos of Entre Ríos, in collaboration with the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (Indec), is conducting the Permanent Household Survey (EPH) across various locations in the province. The survey aims to gather essential statistical data regarding social and economic conditions, including labor market indicators, income, education, migration, and housing characteristics.
In Entre Ríos, the operation covers the Gran Paraná area (including Colonia Avellaneda, Oro Verde, Paraná, San Benito, and Sauce Montrull) and Concordia (including Benito Legerén, Villa Adela, and Villa Zorraquín). It also extends to several other localities such as Basavilbaso, Concepción del Uruguay, Chajarí, Crespo, Federación, Gualeguaychú, and San José, among others.
To ensure security and combat misinformation, authorities have issued guidelines for identifying field personnel. Surveyors must carry an official ID card, which can be verified via a QR code, and a letter of introduction signed in blue ink by the Director General, Andrea Carina Cottonaro. For safety, interviewers do not enter homes; interviews are conducted at the entrance or via telephone. Officials emphasized that they will never request bank passwords, biometric data, money, or ID numbers.
