Entre Ríos electoral circuits face proposed reorganization

The National Electoral Directorate has proposed a reorganization of 30 electoral circuits across 15 departments in Entre Ríos, Argentina. The initiative, formalized through Disposition 1/2026, involves creating new territorial divisions, adjusting boundaries, and modifying names.

In the Concordia department, the proposal specifically affects the circuits of Estación Yuquerí, Colonia Yeruá, Estación Yeruá, and Clodomiro Ledesma. Other affected departments include Paraná, La Paz, Diamante, Victoria, Nogoyá, Tala, Gualeguaychú, Islas del Ibicuy, Villaguay, Federal, Colón, Federación, and San Salvador.

While the reorganization may alter voter distribution and assigned polling stations, the changes are not immediate and must still complete legal procedures. The measure requires notification to registered political parties and publication in the Official Gazette.
