Digital and mobile service expansions in Argentina, Venezuela, and Europe
Various regional governments and companies are implementing digital and mobile solutions to improve access to public services and logistics management.
In Argentina, the Judicial Power of Formosa deployed a mobile unit to Laguna Yema to provide legal assistance and remote mediation services. In Chubut, the government is operating a mobile Civil Registry unit in Comodoro Rivadavia from September 10 to 13, allowing residents to process identity documents via WhatsApp appointments. Additionally, San Juan launched ReProTran, an online platform to manage provincial transport activities including drivers, vehicles, and trips.
In Venezuela, the Instituto de Ferrocarriles del Estado (IFE) launched the ‘En La Parada’ mobile app, enabling passengers of the Valles del Tuy railway to pay fares via QR code scanning to reduce station queues.
In Europe, Schmitz Cargobull expanded its TrailerConnect telematics platform, integrating services such as vehicle washing and parking availability to assist fleet managers in route planning and traceability.
