Entre Ríos government proposes labor process reforms
The Government of Entre Ríos has submitted a bill to the Legislature aimed at modifying provincial labor processes to reduce costs and litigation risks for the business sector. The initiative seeks to strengthen due process guarantees and ensure effective access to review instances.
Key components of the proposal include aligning the medical expert system with national labor risk legislation and creating a specialized body of labor experts under the Superior Tribunal of Justice. Additionally, the project proposes eliminating the requirement for employers to deposit the full amount of a judgment or offer sufficient assets for seizure to appeal a conviction. The reform also addresses the fee regime for experts and judicial auxiliaries, stating that fees will no longer be linked to the economic value of the lawsuit.
