Entre Ríos health officials hold meeting on consumption issues

The Ministry of Health of Entre Ríos and the Municipality of Crespo hosted the second Meeting of the Consumption Problems Network in Crespo, Argentina. The event brought together more than 170 representatives from hospitals, health centers, therapeutic communities, civil society organizations, and various professional disciplines.

The primary objective of the meeting was to strengthen territorial strategies and consolidate network-based work for the comprehensive management of consumption issues. These efforts are framed within provincial mental health policies and align with the principles of the National Mental Health Law No. 26.657.

Participants engaged in working groups to share experiences, identify local challenges, and establish common criteria for responding to consumption issues across different territories. The initiative aims to promote interdisciplinary, community-based, and inclusive actions that respect the dignity and autonomy of individuals while preventing social isolation and exclusion.
