Cultural initiatives launched in Entre Ríos and Bariloche

The Instituto Autárquico Audiovisual de Entre Ríos (IAAER) has launched the 2026 Alicia Naput research and promotion call. The initiative invites artists, historians, and researchers to produce essays exploring the links between artistic, sociocultural expressions and the audiovisual field within the Entre Ríos territory. Applications are open until October 23.

The call is named in honor of Alicia Naput, a prominent educator and researcher who contributed to studies on gender, sexuality, cinema, and politics. She served as a professor and coordinator in the Faculty of Educational Sciences.

In a separate cultural development, the Universidad Nacional de Río Negro is organizing the I Jornadas de Teatro y Educación in Bariloche on October 14 and 15. The event aims to foster collective reflection on artistic teaching practices amidst current technological and cultural transformations, emphasizing theatre as an educational tool centered on human perception and physical presence.

Additionally, the 14th Bariloche Audiovisual Festival has officially opened at the Teatro La Baita, featuring documentary screenings and community engagement activities through September 27, 2026.
