Entre Ríos launches certification program for structural wood products

The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of Entre Ríos, in collaboration with the Federal Investment Council (CFI) and the Center for Industrial Forestry Development (Cedefi), has launched a call for wood manufacturing industries to participate in the Structural Wood Product Certification Program.

Targeting sawmills and remanufacturing industries located in Entre Ríos, the initiative provides financing, technical assistance, and specialized support to help companies comply with national IRAM standards. The program focuses on certifying products such as studs, glued studs, and multi-laminated beams to ensure quality and traceability, guaranteeing that the timber used in construction systems originates from cultivated forests.

The program aims to strengthen the regional forest-industrial chain through economic, social, and environmental sustainability, positioning local timber products for use in construction projects.
