Entre Ríos deputies propose honoring footballers Lisandro Martínez and Marcos Senesi

In Entre Ríos, Argentina, Deputy Carolina Streitenberger has introduced a legislative project to declare professional footballers Lisandro Martínez and Marcos Senesi as ‘Ciudadanos Ilustres’ (Illustrious Citizens) of the province.

The initiative highlights their roles in the Argentine national team, specifically noting their participation in the World Cup.

Lisandro Martínez, originally from Gualeguay, is a World Cup winner, while Marcos Senesi, from Concordia, also represents the province through his professional career in European football. The distinction aims to honor their discipline, perseverance, and status as role models for younger generations.
