Entre Ríos Ministry launches workplace addiction prevention training

The Agrícola Regional Cooperativa Ltda. Agropecuaria (LAR) completed the second cohort of its Workplace Addiction and Problematic Consumption Prevention Course, training 30 employees from branches in Crespo, Diamante, Valle María, Hernández, Nogoyá, Tabossi and María Grande. The program was organized by the Ministry of Government and Labor of Entre Ríos, with the Secretary of Labor and Social Security overseeing the initiative. Minister Manuel Troncoso highlighted that “prevention also has to be built in workplaces” and emphasized the importance of early detection and support for workers facing substance‑use issues.

Participants developed preventive projects and resource maps for their sites, building on earlier efforts begun in 2025. LAR’s board president Horacio Gross and HR manager Juan Dorsch said the training reinforces the cooperative’s commitment to healthier work environments.
