Argentina opens registration for Progresar scholarships and Plan FinEs

Argentina has opened registration for several educational support programs. The Becas Progresar program is currently accepting applications to provide economic assistance to students seeking to complete mandatory education, pursue higher education, or undergo vocational training. Eligibility criteria vary by track: mandatory education is for ages 16 to 24, higher education for ages 17 to 30, and vocational training for ages 18 to 24 (extending to 35 for those without formal employment). The nursing track has no age limit. Applicants must be Argentine nationals or legal residents, maintain academic regularity, and meet specific income and vaccination requirements.

Additionally, the Consejo General de Educación in Entre Ríos has opened pre-registration for the Plan FinEs 2026. This program is designed for adults aged 18 and older who need to complete their secondary school studies due to outstanding subjects. Pre-registration is available online until September 16, and classes will be held in person across 19 locations throughout the province.
