Entre Ríos police launch province‑wide raids, seizing drugs, weapons and phones
In the city of Concordia, police conducted simultaneous saturation operations across dozens of neighborhoods, identifying 47 people and confiscating cocaine, a firearm and a motorcycle. One suspect was caught with 22 packages of cocaine after attempting to flee on foot.
The broader Operativo Blindaje deployed more than 1,600 security officers throughout Entre Ríos province, including a major raid on Penal Unit No. 1 in Paraná. The raid yielded high‑end mobile phones, homemade alcoholic beverages, and additional drug seizures, while also highlighting recent upgrades in police connectivity and technology.
Authorities emphasize that the coordinated actions are part of an ongoing strategy to prevent crime, strengthen technical capabilities and limit illegal items in both public spaces and prison facilities.
