Entre Ríos producers demand action against rising rural crime

Approximately 100 agricultural producers gathered in the La Paz department of Entre Ríos to demand action against rising rural crime. Representatives from the Federación Agraria Argentina (FAA), the Sociedad Rural Argentina (SRA), and the Federación de Asociaciones Rurales de Entre Ríos (FARER) expressed concern over what they described as an uncontrolled increase in rural offenses and violations of private property.

The producers issued specific demands to the judicial system, calling for faster investigations and more effective legal processes to ensure those responsible are sentenced. Additionally, they requested increased resources for the Rural Police, specifically seeking improved technological equipment and the installation of surveillance cameras on roads and rural paths to enhance prevention efforts.
