Entre Ríos reaffirms exclusive authority for lifeguard certification

The Entre Ríos provincial government has reaffirmed the exclusive authority of the Secretariat of Sport to manage the annual certification and revalidation process for lifeguards under Provincial Law No. 9826.

This regulatory framework establishes the Secretariat as the sole legal entity responsible for issuing, endorsing, and revalidating professional licenses for service in beaches and swimming pools across the province. To obtain or maintain accreditation, applicants must pass mandatory physical competency tests and psychological examinations. The process aims to update technical knowledge and standardize the training of rescuers throughout the various departments of Entre Ríos.
