Entre Ríos regulates pension reform and 3% state employee contribution

The government of Entre Ríos has regulated the pension reform established by Law No. 11.302, aimed at restoring the balance and strengthening the provincial pension system. Through Decree 2667/26, signed by Governor Rogelio Frigerio, the administration has defined the technical application of a 3% extraordinary personal contribution for a specific sector of state employees.

The measure is estimated to affect approximately 5% of the active provincial public administration workforce. The 3% deduction will be calculated proportionally based on gross earnings from the month the regulation took effect. For employees holding two or more positions, functions, or contracts within the provincial administration—including centralized and decentralized entities, state companies, and the General Council of Education—the total gross remuneration earned in the month will be summed to calculate the retention.

Specific exclusions from this accumulation include salaries under special regimes (Laws No. 5.654 and No. 5.797), municipal or communal salaries, and private education establishment wages. Additionally, retroactive payments for previous periods will be applied to the month they were earned and will not alter the calculation of the month in which the actual payment is made.
