Entre Ríos renews food security agreements for 2026-2027

The Ministry of Human Development of Entre Ríos has begun renewing agreements for the 2026-2027 period with municipalities, communes, and government boards. This initiative aims to ensure the continuity of food security policies for vulnerable sectors.

The renewal process, coordinated by the Secretariat of Food Security, includes several programs such as the National Food Security Plan and provincial programs for social risk, complements, and assistance for individuals with celiac disease. Benefits are distributed via magnetic cards.

Updated coverage criteria for the upcoming period include expanding assistance for individuals with low weight to all ages and removing age limits for type II diabetes assistance. Coverage remains in place for overweight and obesity in minors under 18 and for adults over 60.
