Entre Ríos Sports Secretariat launches sustainable management training

The Entre Ríos Sports Secretariat has launched a training course titled ‘Introduction to Sustainable Sports Management’. The program is designed for sports leaders, coaches, athletes, and institutional workers to integrate sustainability criteria into management, events, and communication.

Developed by the Secretariat’s Training Coordination in collaboration with the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the National University of Entre Ríos (UNER), Centro ID, and PS Consultora Deporte, the course is structured into three modules. These cover institutional management with a focus on resources and facilities, sustainability in sporting events—including carbon footprint measurement and waste management—and responsible communication and marketing.

The teaching staff includes sports sustainability consultant Ramiro Pazos and Julieta Boschiazzo, a coordinator for the Faculty of Economic Sciences and an affiliate of the International University Sports Federation of America. The training consists of five weeks of virtual synchronous classes totaling ten hours.
