Entre Ríos to host 37th Argentine Mastozoology Conference

The province of Entre Ríos, Argentina, will host the 37th Argentine Mastozoology Conference (JAM) from November 1 to 6. Organized by the Argentine Society for the Study of Mammals (SAREM) in collaboration with the Entre Ríos government, the event marks the first time the conference will be held in the province.

The Museo de Ciencias Naturales y Antropológicas Profesor Antonio Serrano in Paraná will serve as a primary venue, hosting pre-congress workshops and courses starting November 1. Scheduled activities include training in movement ecology, data analysis using R, animal detection via UAVs and artificial intelligence, and species distribution modeling.

Main presentations, keynote lectures, and plenary sessions are scheduled to take place at the Centro Provincial de Convenciones (CPC) from November 3 to 6. The event aims to bring together researchers, educators, and students to promote the study and conservation of mammalian biodiversity.
