Entre Ríos to implement federal accusatory criminal code in November
Judicial authorities from the provinces of Entre Ríos, Santa Fe, and Córdoba met in Paraná to discuss administrative challenges and improve the management of justice services. The meeting, held within the framework of the Región Centro of the Federal Board of Courts (JUFEJUS), focused on innovation, resource optimization, and institutional strengthening.
Separately, the Argentine Ministry of Justice announced through Resolution 417/2026 that the Federal Criminal Procedure Code will take effect in Entre Ríos on November 30, 2026. This transition to an accusatory system will cover the entire province under the jurisdiction of the Federal Court of Appeals of Paraná, including cities such as Paraná, Concepción del Uruguay, Concordia, Gualeguaychú, and Victoria. The new model will clearly separate the roles of investigating, accusing, and judging, with the Public Prosecutor's Office handling investigations and accusations while judges act as guarantors of the process.
