Entre Ríos to quadruple power supply with new 132 kV high‑voltage line

Enersa presented a public hearing to the provincial energy regulator EPRE in Federación, outlining a new 132 kV high‑voltage transmission line linking Chajarí and Federación in northern Entre Ríos. Funded with provincial resources, the line will quadruple the available power capacity, allowing the region to replace diesel generators during peak demand periods. The project also includes a new 132/33/13.2 kV transformer station in Federación, which will improve reliability for residential, commercial and industrial users and support future residential, industrial and tourism growth.

The hearing, led by EPRE interventor Marcos Rodríguez Allende and attended by local officials such as Federación mayor Ricardo Bravo and Enersa president Uriel Brupbacher, is part of the regulatory process for issuing a public convenience and necessity certificate. The upgraded infrastructure is expected to enhance service quality, reduce reliance on diesel generation, and attract new productive enterprises to the area.
