Sorocaba's 'Entrelaços' Exhibition Opens at Jardim Botânico
The free exhibition “Entrelaços” opened on 25 July at the Palacete de Cristal in the Jardim Botânico “Irmãos Villas‑Bôas” in Sorocaba, Brazil. Curated by agronomist and cultural manager Silvia Stecca, the show features works by artist‑educator Emília Faria and architect‑illustrator Sô Maciel, exploring the interdependence of humans, technology and the environment. Visitors can see paintings, handcrafted ceramics, mobiles, textile panels and a photographic series by Sergio Roberg documenting wildlife and forest habitats. The municipality’s Secretariat of Environment, Protection and Animal Welfare sponsors the event, which runs daily Tuesday to Sunday, 9 am–5 pm, until 30 August. The venue is located at Rua Miguel Montoro Lozano, 340, Jardim Dois Corações, Sorocaba.
The exhibition aims to promote sustainability through art, encouraging audiences to contemplate how technological advances can coexist with nature.
