Entrepreneur Marcus Almeida admitted to Harvard Business School

Marcus Almeida, a 36-year-old entrepreneur from Pará, Brazil, has been admitted to the General Management Program (GMP) at Harvard Business School in the United States. The selection followed more than a year of preparation.

Almeida intends to use the program, which focuses on management, strategy, finance, negotiation, governance, and leadership, to enhance his business operations in Brazil. He aims to represent the Amazonian corporate ecosystem, seeking to challenge stereotypes that limit the region's identity to environmental or natural resource issues. Almeida noted that the region possesses a strong corporate ecosystem characterized by innovation, technology, and significant economic impact.
