Entrepreneurship and technology initiatives advance in Argentina and Spain
In Formosa, Argentina, entrepreneurs and business owners have completed an Executive Diploma in Entrepreneurship Management. The program was organized by the Agencia de Desarrollo Empresarial (ADE) in collaboration with the Escuela de Ejecutivos de Córdoba to provide strategic tools for local production sectors.
The training focused on business analysis, market dynamics, cost calculation, strategic pricing, and financial management. ADE Manager Guillermo Arévalo stated the initiative aims to provide practical tools to reduce uncertainty and allow for long-term business projection.
In Córdoba, Spain, the startup Ganama won the ‘Córdoba SmartCity’ challenge. Their winning project utilizes artificial intelligence and computer vision to transform conventional traffic signals into intelligent observation points. The system monitors pedestrian and vehicle flows in real time and uses edge computing to respond immediately to risks, such as activating pedestrian crossings when people are detected.
Blanca Torrent, president of the Instituto Municipal de Desarrollo Económico y Empleo (Imdeec), noted that the project demonstrates how local talent can build more sustainable and efficient cities through digital transformation.
