Entrepreneurship initiatives highlight youth business development

In Malaysia, 22-year-old Danial Anas Aizat Ahmad Samhan has transitioned from a career as a flight attendant to focus entirely on his perfume business. Despite facing a RM12,000 loss in a previous cosmetic venture at age 18, Danial decided to leave his aviation role to manage his new enterprise full-time due to the scheduling challenges of cabin crew work.

In Indonesia, BINUS @Malang is fostering student entrepreneurship through the BESTARI FESTIVAL 2026. The event, themed ‘Eternal Legacy’, features over 70 student-led business booths at Malang Town Square. The festival aims to provide students with real-world market experience, allowing them to introduce products to the public, gather consumer feedback, and build brand trust outside the campus environment.
