Entrepreneurship programs launch in Chile and Argentina

Various entrepreneurship initiatives are launching in Chile and Argentina to support economic autonomy through specialized training and financial tools.

In Chile, the Social Investment and Solidarity Fund (FOSIS) has launched the ‘Emprendamos’ and ‘Emprendamos Semilla’ programs in the Valparaíso Region. The initiative aims to benefit more than 3,200 entrepreneurs by providing technical advice, training, and financial support to help individuals start or scale existing businesses.

In Argentina, AMIA and BBVA have relaunched the ‘Emprender +55’ program. This fourth edition is a free virtual course specifically designed for individuals over the age of 55. The curriculum covers business conceptualization, the use of artificial intelligence, financial planning, and digital sales strategies, including social media and electronic payment methods.
