Entrepreneurship support programs announced in Dubrovnik and Rijeka

New educational and mentoring initiatives have been announced for entrepreneurs in Croatia.

In Dubrovnik, the Dubrovnik Development Agency (DURA), supported by the City of Dubrovnik, is organizing its tenth annual Startup Academy. A practical workshop focused on communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution is scheduled for October 24, 2026. Led by NLP Master trainer Gordana Kastarpeli, the session aims to provide entrepreneurs, managers, and freelancers with tools to manage challenging conversations and improve decision-making.

In Rijeka, the Startup Incubator Rijeka is offering free speed mentoring for female entrepreneurs and artisans. The event will take place on November 10, 2026, at RiHub. Participants can receive brief consultations from six experts covering legal advice, EU funding, educational program development, digital marketing, financial management, and human resources. Applications for the Rijeka program are open until October 25.
