Entrepreneurship trends and resources in Brazil
A study conducted by Sebrae RS titled ‘Gerações, Territórios e Empreendedorismo’ reveals that an entrepreneur's generation and geographic location significantly influence their business journey. The research, which involved 58 entrepreneurs in Rio Grande do Sul, indicates that these factors shape motivations, challenges, technology use, and access to support networks. While socioeconomic contexts can limit or expand access to resources, different generations exhibit distinct values and behaviors regarding market innovation.
In addition to regional studies, various literary resources are highlighted for entrepreneurial development. These include ‘Business Adventures’ by John Brooks, a favorite of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett, and ‘O Poder da Autorresponsabilidade’ by Paulo Vieira, which focuses on high performance and emotional intelligence through self-responsibility. Other works include titles by Ana Laranjeira and Renato Saraiva regarding entrepreneurial trajectories.
