Entrerriano Basketball League Opens with Club De Pelota Victory

The first round of the Oficial de Primera División basketball season in the Entrerriano region kicked off on Thursday. Club De Pelota defeated Argentino Junior 77‑74 at the Juan Carlos Pardo arena, with local forward Franco Susemihl scoring 29 points. Argentino Junior’s top scorer was Jerónimo Barrionuevo with 27 points.

In a separate debut match in Colón, Club Social y Deportivo Federación beat La Armonía 89‑81. Agustín Carnovale led the visitors with 21 points and a performance rating of 35, while teammate Lahuel Silva added 20 points. Both wins give the victors a strong start to the three‑year league campaign and set up upcoming fixtures against Independiente de San Cayetano, Huracán de Necochea, and Estudiantes de Concordia later in the week.
